BEginning of the END!!!!!
i had been studying for my exams for the past few hours and thats when i realised that its not the beginning of an exam but the beginning of the end....
End of Engineeering
End of hanging out endlessly in college
End of all the fucking politics( which i so am looking forward to.....)
End of Slogging my ass of at the last moment....
End of Projects...
End of trying to tell myself that every person i know qualifies to be a FRIEND!
End of a few fake friendships
End of seeing some not so pleasing faces and not so wanted people everyday!
End of trying to fake what I feel for some people....
End of all that booze i had wid friends in and around college
End of JATC....CCD(petrol Pump)...Yacht....
End of bunking lectures and having chai lounging around in the old building....
End of trying to get into the lift which is always fulll
End of trying to get a glimpse of the new maths prof(man i would miss her so much!)
End of those pot lucks wid the diploma gang....
End of studying in college during PL's
End of waiting for the attendance sheet during the periodics(fuck i hope my mom doesnt read this...she thinks periodics are for FE's)
End of playing for college....(technically it ended last year)
End of 4 beautiful years in TSEC......and
End of all that Madness we created and spread together.....
but what will continue is the friendships built on trust and honesty....and to be honest there are only a handful i can call my best friends from college...and all those people know it.....

Mumbai
Balasaheb thackeray has influenced mumbai like fidel castro has influenced cuba with his revolutionary attitude.both these leaders have contrasting issues in perspectives but when i compare them i am only comparing the kind of influence and magnetism they have.Balasaheb as he is fondly called by the mumbaikars has been constantly the watchdog of the marathi pride of this city and state and has fought over the years for the same.there has never been anyone who has ever looked challenging enough to stand up to balasahebs charisma and dynamism till Raj thackeray came on to the picture.
Comparisons were drawn between raj and balasaheb as soon as raj came on to the scene as the right hand man of balasaheb and i believe those comparisons have been made rightly so because they both hasve a lot of uncanny similarities in their careers and personal lives which few would know.
both of them are good caricaturists, both of them have very high influence on the marathi man who is so often the subject of dispute, both of them in their acts have promoted regionalism at the early stages of their careers....(Raj with his actions against the bhaiyas which so clearly reminds us of a younger balasaheb who had a similiar stand on south indians)
well i truly believe Raj is the perfect heir to balasaheb in every sense of the word because only he has got the dynamism and the aura and defiance which balasahed possesses even now.
having said so much about both these men i would also like to take a stand on their views which demands maharashtra to be a completely marathi state. india is a secular nation and a democracy but then there is an overflowing population in certain cities/states while others are living at peace.Mumbai/maharashtra is one place which is got overcrowded over the years and calling maharashtra to be a completely marathi state is one of the measures to reduce this over crowdedness...but then this would defy the word secular which we mumbaikars call ourselves so often...it would defy the kind of spirit mumbai has shown during the times of crisis and people from every community have stood up to those calamties be it blasts or floods or riots mumbai has faced it all with a smile.
I strongly oppose the idea of maharashtra becoming a completely marathi state coz firstly it would take away the secular tag from us which is the pride of our city and also it would take away the different flavors of the city due to which the city is what it is!instead i would like to see some regulation made over the amount of people coming into the city somewhat like what delhi has got done....a work permit or something on those lines...
what this would ensure is that spirit of the city is not hurt and at the sametime there is a sort of control that would prevail in the city which would help the city maintain a certain level of professionalism as well.
what both the thackerays have failed to notice are the above mentioned points i have made.
only if both the thackerays would put some sensibility over their passion for the city the city would truly be the worlds best in the true sense!
and having said all this i truly feel that what the thackerays have done for the city and state no other leader has done.

A tribute to my Friends!
we often realise how good we have been all the previous years during the time of acute crisis like this one...i was goin through a similiar anxiety...
its one comparable to performance anxiety because u have to stand up to the occasion and not let the event get the better of you...
its like a big match you play on the field...comparable to a final...the onus to win it is on you but you cannot do it without the support of your team mates...and this case my team mates were and have always been my friends...
they say a friend in need is a friend indeed and each one of my friends...prakash,koru,aadi,chabbu,rohan,ravi,gaurav,punit,bunny,lokesh,swapnil,rohit everyone has proved it true...
they also say that relations with love and affection as the basis are far greater than blood relations and that has been proved by the invaluable support i have got from my two foster sisters paro and poo...they have been the pillars of strenght for me and those guys above have been the cement that has bound it all together....
we have always called the gurls the weaker sex but i feel my gurls(that is my friends who are gurls) have proved that its not that ways....they have rose to this acute crisis in my life in an inexplicable manner....i really cannot decipher the emotions i feel when i talk of them...vaddu...rupali...neha..rajul...each one of them have been like a backbone in themselves...
they say behind every successful man theres a woman but i say there would be many women behind my success....
last but not the least my dad gave me the most valuable lesson in life at the end...about who are the people i need to protect and keep wid me in life forever like treasured gems...and it is my friends for sure....and he also taught me who are the fakers and i have spotted quite a few...but dont wanna name drop in here coz everyones done their best....
love ya my friends...am totally overwhelmed by the way you all have helped me through this phase and am proud of you all and about my own choice of people!cheers to all of you!

The LAST LETTER
Dearest dad
I am really sorry for what happened last night. Well I was kind of feverish last night since I had got wet in the rain and when mom yelled at me I got really pissed off but that is no justification for my actions. I promise to u that henceforth u shall see a visible change in my behavior.
Well I would also like to tell u one thing dad, don’t stress your mind with my education or my career issues. I assure u that I have thought abt it enough and that I shall be successful in whatever I shall do. U don’t know how much respect and love I have for u dad but afterall am your son…its really difficult for me to express what I feel for u.i really cannot do it so easily with you or mom for that matter.
U have an image that my friends got more importance to me which is absolutely wrong dad coz how can they be so important to me that I forget you and mom ever in my life its u afterall who have given me life and got me this far.dad u and mom are my best friends forever and u shall always be the most important thing in my life and make no mistake abt it.
Well I know am a lil too temperamental and short tempered but I am tryin my best to keep myself in control. Its like one of those bad habits which a person tries to control.
I really do not mean to hurt u or mom in anyway but my temper jus shoots off and I cant hold my emotions back. The only problem that I have with u and mom is that u all make a judgement far too easily i.e if I do somethings at home u tend to force it onto me that I shall be like that at work too which is not the case dad…ppl change with responsibilities and I know whats expected of me in different situations.
Dad u are the worlds best dad and mom is the worlds best mom and am lucky to have u two as parents. And trust me that I shall let nothing happen to u both as llong as am around so dad just stop worryin abt whats gonna happen to mom in future.i shall always take care of her.and as far as u go…u are the person I look upto for inspiration always deep down inside so stop worryin abt ur health coz u are perfectly fine dad.
And dad one more thing am now 20 yrs old treat me like an adult dad u can share
Dad pls give me a chance to improve and be a good son to u n mom.am really sorry if I have hurt u.its upto u now to talk to me or not.
Am really sorry.
now my dads left me and gone so far away that i cant even take a fight wid him let alone asking him for forgiveness....
Dad pls come back really really miss you man....gimme a chance to fight with u!
i will do all the comp work u want me to man come back pls!pls dad!
love you forever.

Look at all those fancy clothes,
But these could keep us warm just like those.
And what about your soul? Is it cold?
Is it straight from the mold, and ready to be sold?
And cars and phones and diamond rings,
Bling, bling, those are only removable things.
And what about your mind? Does it shine?
Are there things that concern you, more than your time?
Gone, going.
Gone, everything.
Gone, give a damn.
Gone, be the birds, when they dont wanna sing.
Gone, people, all awkward with their things,
Gone.
Look at you, out to make a deal.
You try to be appealing, but you lose your appeal.
And what about those shoes youre in today?
Theyll do no good, on the bridges you burnt along the way.
Are you willing to sell, anything?
Gone, with your hurt.
Leave your footprints,
And well shame them with our words.
Gone, people, all careful and consumed.
Gone
Gone, going.
Gone, everything.
Gone, give a damn.
Gone, be the birds, when they dont wanna sing.
Gone, people, all awkward with their things,
Gone.

makkad manav kyun?
when i reached the theatre the first thing that hit me...(like always) was the exorbitant charges they take for a 4 by 4 feet of space that they give u to park the bike!thats when u tend to realise how valuable real estate is! 20 rs for 3 hrs! for a 4 by 4 space lolz....anyways cut back to the front end of the theatre....
swapnil was checking the listings out and we both unanimously agreed to catch the friendly neighborhood spiderman!but there was one hitch....swapnil didnt want to watch it in english and i didnt wanna watch it in any other language!but then after a lot of persuation i agreed and we bought tickets for makkad manav(now thats how i shud be calling poor spiderman!)
the problem worsens because spider man in hindi means addition of a lot of more things other than only the language....they very nicely get in the different indian dialects within the hindi version and make the editor of the daily bugle a punjabi!(for heavens sake simply becoz editor is a guy with a heavier barritone u make him a punjabi!) not only that spiderman is ultra senti with his dialogues to mary jane....i mean even a normal gurl wud find a guy wid that type of a language a creep....cmon guys give some respect to mary jane shes a celebrity let her have a guy who is charming ......
the movie was full of shite and it didnt go down well wid me....i was wondering since then have any foreigners ever dubbed our movies for their audience then why should we?
the answer is simple...while most of their country is educated and can read...ours cant....and so our very considerate directors painstakingly dub the dialogues of every movie.......
even if i say that we aint got a high literacy rate am sure most of our country can boast abt their ability to read the national language....and this must be made mandatory if it is not as of yet!
i really think that use of indian languages on english movies not only screws the movie but also goes to show the poor state of the country....and i wud definitely not want to see our country be talked abt in bad light....
basic education is a must and every child must get it...afterall its their right...am lucky and priveleged to have got to enjoy this right but then i shall make sure i also take it as a responsibility and try my best to not let any child go uneducated.....and am sure if everyone of us took it up to us to do so we wud definitely not need to see any english movies dubbed in hindi or bhojpuri....
and then there wud be no longer the legend of makkad manav!

complicated!
Uh huh, uh huh, that's the way it is
Cause life's like this
Uh huh, uh huh that's the way it is
Chill out whatcha yelling' for?
Lay back it's all been done before
And if you could only let it be
you will see
I like you the way you are
When we're drivin' in your car
and you're talking to me one on one but you've become
Somebody else round everyone else
You're watching your back like you can't relax
You're tryin' to be cool you look like a fool to me
Tell me
Why you have to go and make things so complicated?
I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else gets me frustrated
Life's like this you
And you fall and you crawl and you break
and you take what you get and you turn it into honesty
and promise me I'm never gonna find you fake it
no no no
You come over unannounced
dressed up like you're somethin' else
where you are and where it's at you see
you're making me
laugh out when you strike your pose
take off all your preppy clothes
you know you're not fooling anyone
when you've become
Somebody else round everyone else
Watching your back, like you can't relax
Trying to be cool you look like a fool to me
Tell me
Why you have to go and make things so complicated?
I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else gets me frustrated
Life's like this you
and You fall and you crawl and you break
and you take what you get and you turn it into
honesty
promise me I'm never gonna find you fake it
no no no
Chill out whatcha yelling for?
Lay back, it's all been done before
And if you could only let it be
You will see
Somebody else round everyone else
You're watching your back, like you can't relax
You're trying to be cool, you look like a fool to me
Tell me
Why you have to go and make things so complicated?
I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else gets me frustrated

.......
thats comlicated by avril....and i can bet that no one can deny the fact that we all can identify with the lyrics....its just so contemprorary and jus so us!
we all go through a phase where we are forced to change ourselves according to a particular group we live in....if it were only habits its ok( and that too for the good)....but if one has to change his very own self and have an image makeover to such an extent that he cant identify his own true self what is the purpose of existence?!..
people wud say "when in rome do as the romans do" but they imply "when in rome become a roman and forget urself"....its just so not fair for a person to change himself to "fit in"
Fitting in is an issue which every person faces at a point in life called teenage....and if not teenage then youth....coz theres no person who hasnt made amends or rather changes to himself/herself to fit in to a group....or a society.....why cant we just be us and why cant others accept everyone else the way they are....
the society can make a mountain out of a molehill so damn easily....they wud be snobbish to a person wearin a pink shirt....or a person who laughs too loud....or a girl who is equally comfortable wid guys as much as wid gurls....(they call such gurls as sluts to be honest!) i mean why make a predicament and that too a biased one on a person simply coz he/she is different from the robotic world that u live in?
am sure there are those people in that robotic world who think wish we cud also jus not care for this damned world but then they get a reality check ....they need a business contract....they need some contact....they like that girl in the pink dress and so on and so forth and hence they cannot jus be themselves coz people might not accept their true real existence!
why is it such an issue to be urself in public?i can surely say that if everyone learns to be themselves the world wud have real human beings and not programmed robots who are not sure of their identities.....think over it and u wud soon know if ur a robot or a human being!
