smells like rain spirit!

aaah...what a welcome respite from the smeltering heat....the rains always give u this feeling dont they.....

rains have always been special and wonderful lest they become monsters like a few years back..otherwise they are always enjoyable and take u down the memory lane and revive those nostalgic memories of childhood....

the first rains moresover are so special.....the smell of the earth teasing ur olfactory cords after an year.....it in my opinion is the best perfume....smells so greatits just so amazing...
theres nothing as valuable as living ur childhood time and again and reminding urself abt those days how u played in the water and released paper boats in the little puddles....jumped in them and got drenched....its a different thrill altogether....theres not a single being who is spared of this wonderful feeling by the rains...be it a octagenarian or a toddler....they all love the rains and love to get wet in the rain...the animals love it ....the plants love it and it shows in those pearl like drops that accumulate on their leaves....u jus feel llike treasuring them forever!

and not to forget sipping in on hot coffee as u admire natures most beautiful season from the balcony of ur house....or having hot fried bhajias(its a indian delicacy as u all know).....

and yeah how can i forget this one.....playing football in the rains its jus the best thing to do.....man rains i love it so much....

poor country!duh!

man as i write this am totally confused and flumoxed by the fact that we...indians are considered to be one of the poorer lot and more so over india as a country as a poor country...

well wat gave rise to this confusion is something massive thats happening in the city of dreams(not NY) mumbai...

mukesh ambani the ace business entrepreneur and owner of reliance india ltd is makin his house!
whats so surprising abt it ???well the house is spread over an area of 4000 sq.m and is 27 storeys which is actually equivalent to 60 normal storeys....

this staggering construction is well equipped wid a gymnasium,swimming pool....a 6 storey car parking lot which can house 168 cars!....a home theatre(literally)...health club.....and what not.....the entire building wud have a staff of around 600 people and the cost of the land alone is around Rs 350 Cr let alone the construction and other charges....

and its not over yet....it has abt 4 helipads in the entire building along with an atheletic track in the building itself!all this to house a family of around not more than 10....which includes his wife nita....his kids and his mother kokila....

man and we thot we were a poor country....where does all this money come from!

am to say the least overwhelmed by the happening of events in our country and i have no answers to whats happening...i can only sit and ponder days on end!.....

friendship and love

man these are two of the most beautiful feelings a human being can ever expierience.....there are so many relations in life ...the son...the father...the brother...yet what takes the cake is friendship and love...

people often say that friendship is a greater emotion than love but i say that both these relations cannot be successful without each other....you cannot be a good friend if u cant love a person....and u cant love a person if u arent his/her good friend!

they jus go hand in hand.....and lucky are the people who expierience the best part of both these emotions in life!luckily i am one.......have expierienced the best of friendship in my life...been proud to have all those men in my life as friends as also the women....

aditya...prakash...saurabh...sagar...rohan...ravi.....paro...poo..these are some names that have been with me since my kindergarten days and i thot life wud be impossible without em when people like rahul...rohit...swap...priyesh...neeti...divij...came in and made me realise that u never stop makin friends in life jus as u dont stop growin a beard lolz....

thank u all ya fellas for bein there and makin life so beautiful...it wudnnt be the same without u all....

as far as the love part goes am still waitin ......

heres a review.....

well one major hurdle that comes our way right from kindergarten till we get a job is exams...well exams for admission to school...exams for gettin out of school...exams for gettin a job...exams for leavin a job....man exams exams exams......there wud be soon one day when there wud be an exam to be called as the son of ur parents...to prove ur the brother of ur sister....n so on ....

why do we need exams?i mean can there be no other way to bloody test the character n merit of a person?i mean cmon how many of them understand what they write in an exam?....they either mug it up or jus blindly copy it from here n there....it dont make sense at all...well why am i broodin abt exams coz mine are on!

this past week has been mixed and filled wit various emotions.....i saw the joy of doin weill in my papers ...saw the agony of seein my fave club liverpool lose to ac milan....saw the excitement of seein my neice at my place.....saw the frustration of not bein able to talk to that one special person in my life....

anyways lifes like this and love is a beautiful feelin we all must expierience...

my first blog......

well as i write this there are a million questions lingering in my mind but then i wud rather let those questions unfurl and unwind as i get more and more comfortable wid expressing myself to the entire world which i think is an achievement in itself......

well let me jus begin wid givin and introduction abt myself....

am deepak ramesh....a 20 yr old young man tryin to make my mark in life....a place for myself in this not so considerate world which am gradually gettin to see....am doing my engineering from a "credible" institution called thadomal shahani engineering college....based in bandra mumbai....the college has everything one expects from a college which charges 55k as its fees....but its kind of unfair coz having such a high fees means many students who deserve it cant get into it coz they cant afford it!its so sadening to see this...

well let me not divulge from the motto behind my first post which is introducing myself and i guess enuffs been said abt me...the other things probably u all might wanna know is my hobbies,my interests etc..and am not even sure whether all of u are interested either or not....but in any case this is my first post and i feel that i just need to get other ppl to know me...

am totally a football freak....soccer as the americans call it( which i dont approve of....but then i dont think they would change their dictionary for me...)i love playing the game and watchin it and i truly believe that it is the mother of all games and it doesnt get the respect it deserves in this part of the world which i stay in...INDIA.....other than that i love singing...chatting online....analysing human behaviour....reading etc......music is life and there are very few things which give u as much satisfaction as music does!

before i sign off jus wanna remind all the football fanatics...dont forget to catch the UEFA champions league final on the 23rd nite...LFC vs AC milan...

and by the way am routing for LFC my fave club..
