Its dark outside as I write
Its was not so long ago the days were bright
and then suddenly a needle pierced the heart
as I saw it all fall apart...
She stood there watching me walk away
not realizing the reason for this day
she gave me a cold stare
the one I could never bear
Its all went a bit pale n numb
I decided to this pain I won't succumb
I made myself oblivious to the sounds
down the memory lane my mind took rounds
Its difficult to think it happened so fast
I think of the times together we had a blast
and then suddenly a needle pierces the heart
and makes me wonder why it all fell apart..
